Two local organizations, the American Foreclosure and Mortgage Relief Foundation (AFaMR) along with the Partnership for Homeownership (PFHO) are kicking off the “Rock the House Tour 2010", a national initiative to raise funds to assist Americans facing foreclosure. The kick-off event and fundraiser will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010 (5:30pm-Midnight) at the Prairie Capital Convention Center, located downtown in Springfield, Illinois.

This event will feature local entertainment including REALTOR Brian Smith and his band “Out of the Woods”, 4 ½ Men, Cats on Holiday, Rox School and Jacque Deshetler from St. Louis. The event begins at 5:30pm and will also feature food and drinks, 50/50 raffle, mega raffle, silent auction and live remote. Tickets are $20 each and are available for purchase from CAAR.
