CAAR Vision

The vision of the Capital Area Association of REALTORS® is to be the ultimate advocate for private property rights, resource for real estate information, education and professional standards for the consumer, the general public, and the real estate professional.

Association Governance

The Capital Area Association of REALTORS® trade association is governed by an elected Board of Directors and several Committees. There are restrictions and requirements for each Board or Committee assignment.

2015 Board of Directors Election

2015 Board Elections for the period of October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 will be held at the Annual Membership Meeting scheduled for 11:30 a.m. on September 25th, 2014 at Scheels.

The current Board of Directors is comprised of 15 voting members and one ex-officio member as follows:

  • President
  • President-elect
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • MIS Committee Chairman
  • Immediate past-president
  • 9 at-large Directors (3 year staggered terms)
  • Affiliate Committee Chairman
  • One IAR officer as an ex-officio member
