CAR helps its members maintain the highest standards of professionalism and achieve the highest levels of success.

CAR Vision

The vision of the Capital Area Association of REALTORS® is to be the ultimate advocate for private property rights, resource for real estate information, education and professional standards for the consumer, the general public, and the real estate professional.

Association Governance

The Capital Area REALTORS® trade association is governed by an elected Board of Directors and several Committees. There are restrictions and requirements for each Board or Committee assignment.

Current Board of Directors

The current Board of Directors is comprised of 16 voting members as follows:

  • President
  • President-elect
  • Secretary/Treasurer
  • MLS Committee Chairman
  • Immediate past-president
  • 9 at-large Directors (3 year staggered terms)
  • Affiliate Committee Chairman
  • West Central Chapter President
